Today, we had class. After class, had interviews once more. This means that we met up with our interviewee (singular this time) (all of the interviewees were female again) and had lunch with her. After lunch, we found a classroom and conducted our interview. It is far easier to interview one person at a time and our interviewee this time was awesome.
After the interview, she offered to take up to the ESS or essentially a room for students to practice their English. It was really fun. I met and talked to students (there were even a few guys this time). I really enjoyed that and plan to hopefully return again before I leave. We ended up staying about 2 hours there.
The train back to Nishi-funabashi was about 30 minutes late which is very unusual for Japanese trains. This means that an extra 30 minutes of people were getting onto this train. We were hoping that it would not be very crowded on the train. We were so very wrong. The train was packed to begin with, then we tried shoving an extra God know how many more people onto the train. You know the videos where people are hired to shove people into the train? Yea, I was right in the middle of that. See the video below as an example. it was interesting, but I was trying to also worry about my camera getting crushed and dealing with my backpack. It was a huge relief when I got out of the train where I was not being physically and literally crushed.
I then returned to my dorm and did homework, specifically transposing my interview.
